Belvedere FC

Belvedere Football Club was formed in Dublin in 1971. It began as a section of the Belvedere Youth Club to provide a dedicated soccer organisation for young people of north inner-city Dublin. The club won it's first major football trophy in 1975 winning the U15 Cannon Cup. Since then Belvedere FC has won over 100 soccer trophies. Over 160 Belvedere players have won international soccer caps for the Republic of Ireland at different representative levels. These include full international honours for Mark Kennedy, Curtis Fleming, Richard Sadlier, Thomas Butler, Stephen Elliott, Stephen Kelly and more recently Wesley Hoolahan. Over 25 Belvedere FC players have won international caps at Under 21 level.
