Cherry Orchard FC

Cherry Orchard Football Club was formed in 1957 in the Ballyfermot area of Dublin. Originally the soccer club catered for adult players, with its home ground at the The Lawn. The club entered the Leinster Alliance League, before joining the Leinster Junior League. Cherry Orchard had some success including a Sheeran Cup victory and then moved on to the Athletic Union League (AUL) in the 1960s.
