Rivervalley Rangers FC

Rivervalley Rangers FC is a north county Dublin soccer football club based in Swords. The football club was formed in 1981. Starting out with one senior team and one schoolboys team Rivervalley Rangers grew rapidly, particularly the schoolboys section. Currently the club boasts 22 soccer teams that include girl's, boy's, women's and men's teams. In addition the club also runs a pre-league coaching academy and an "over the hills" section. In 2006 Rangers officially opened their purpose-built all weather football pitch with the aid of National Lottery funding. Rivervalley Rangers FC provided two members, John Thompson & Brendan McGill, of the Irish international U16's team that won the European Championship in 1998.

The play their home matches on soccer pitches located in Rivervalley Park and Brackenstown in Swords, and Newbridge House Demesne in Donabate in County Dublin
