Terenure College AFC is an amateur Dublin soccer football club founded in 1972. Formerly soccer players from the college competed under the banner; Collegians. Prior to that the team was known as Springfield FC. The club draws players from the immediate area, Templeogue and Knocklyon. Terenure has won the following trophies: in 1972/73 Leinster Junior Shield; in 2000/01 LSL Sunday Div 2A Winners; 2003/04 LSL Sunday Div 2 Winners. The club has three teams. The first and
second teams play their home matches in the college grounds and the third
team plays in Bushy Park across the road from the college. |
