Beaumont is a north
Dublin suburb (Dublin 9) in Ireland that falls under the remit of
Dublin City Council. Nearby areas include Santry,
Glasnevin, Donnycarney, Artane,
Whitehall and Coolock. Beaumont is the
home of Beaumont Hospital renowned for the treatment of head trauma.
One of the most famous residents of the area was the brewer Arthur
Guinness. One of the most famous sportsmen to come from Beaumont
was former Republic of Ireland international soccer player Paddy
Mulligan.
