Cabra is a northside
suburb of Dublin 7 approximately 5Km
from the city centre. It is bordered by the Phoenix Park, Phibsboro,
Finglas and Castleknock.
The name Cabra is derived from the Irish Cabrach.
The area has produced
many fine footballers down through the years including former Manchester
United Busby Babe Liam Whelan who died in the Munich air disaster.
Cabra also produced Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Wayne Henderson.
