Palmerstown is a suburb
of West Dublin. The post code is 20. The suburb is surrounded by
Lucan, Ballyfermot
and Chapelizod. It is located near the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre
and just off the M50 motorway - junction 7. The N3 or Navan Road
provides access from Dublin City Centre and from the West.
The village of Palmerstown
which has been largely rebuilt over recent years is somewhat cut
off from the greater Palmerstown area by the N4 bypass. As a consequence
usual bustle associated with villages is absent from Palmerstown.
