Portrane / Donabate
is an area of north County Dublin in Ireland that falls under the
remit of Fingal
County Council. Both towns are situated on a peninsula. Nearby
areas include Lusk and Swords. Portrane
is known for St. Ita's Psychiatric Hospital. The very attractive
Newtown House and grounds are situated in Donabate. The area has
a six golf clubs in close proximity and also plays hosts to a number
of other sports including soccer.
