Ranelagh is a south
Dublin suburb (Dublin 6) in Ireland that falls under the remit of
Dublin
City Council. The Grand Canal provides the northern border for
the area. Nearby areas include Rathmines, Donnybrook,
Clonskeagh and Milltown. Ranelagh is a vibrant city village with
a number of high quality restaurants and pubs. The Aviva
Stadium at Lansdowne
Road is within walking distance from Ranelagh. LUAS, the light
rail system, runs through the area. The most famous sports star
from Ranelagh is former World snooker champion, Ken Doherty. Local
