Rathfarnham is a
southern suburb of Dublin 14. It shares boundaries with Templeogue
and Terenure. The suburb has many fine
amenities including access to the Dodder river, Bushy Park and Marlay
Park, Rathfarnham Castle, two shopping centres - including Nutgrove
SC, schools, library, Garda station, and many pubs and restaurants.
it's name from the Irish Rath Fearnain or the fort of the alders.
