Corkagh Park Soccer Pitch per Football Club
Corkagh Demesne came into public ownership
in 1983 when Dublin County Council purchased the park from Sir John Galvin.
The park covers an area of more than 120 hectares and is bordered by the
Naas Road extending in the Clondalkin direction. There are nine soccer
pitches in the park and are under the management of South Dublin County
Council. There is also a GAA pitch, a rugby pitch, and two baseball diamonds.
Corkagh Park also contains two 'put and take' fisheries on man-made lakes,
fed by the Camac River.
There are two main entrances to Corkagh
Park 1) St John's Road car park entrance through the St John's
Estate and 2) the Naas Road car park.
