Kennedy's Field Soccer Pitch per Football Club
Kennedy's Field is a small green area just
off the N81 - the Tallaght bypass. The field and the single soccer pitch
are under the management of South Dublin County Council. The football
pitch is on the Tallaght-bound side of the dual carriageway opposite the
Spawell complex. If travelling via the M50 take the Junction 11 exit -
signpost for Tallaght. Drive in the direction of Dublin City / Templeogue
until arriving at the Spawell roundabout. Proceed around the roundabout
and on to the opposite side of the carriageway heading back in the direction
of Tallaght / M50. Stay in the left hand lane. The football pitch is on
the left hand side however the view of the pitch is obscured by trees
and bushes. The entrance to the pitch is via a gate just before the service
station. SDCC has recently added car parking facilities in the field.
