Leixlip United is a Kildare based football club that competes in the Dublin District Schoolboys League and the United Churches Football League. The club has existed in various guises since the late 1950’s but was not officially established until 1969. Originally the club’s teams competed in the Athletic Union League. In the early ’70’s Leixlip United started up it’s schoolboy section when it entered a team in to the DDSL. Leixlip United teams play their home matches at the Leixlip Amenities Centre in Collinstown and the Hewlet Packards grounds. |

Leixlip Amenities Centre, Collinstown, Leixlip, County Kildare Take the Lucan exit from the M50. Proceed west on the N4 towards Lucan/Leixlip. At the Celbridge & Leixlip West exit – the first exit from the M4 – drive up the ramp and across the M4. Proceed through the next roundabout and turn right at the last roundabout. Heading back towards Leixlip ptoceed past Lidl supermarket on the right. At the next traffic lights take the next right into the Leixlip Amenities Centre. The changing rooms are on the right hand side. There is ample parking available. |
