Buncrana Hearts FC

Buncrana Hearts FC is a County Donegal soccer club competing in the Inishowen Football League. The club plays a significant role within the local community and has 8 football teams competing in soccer leagues from Under-10 through to Senior level. Buncrana Hearts Fun Soccer Academy was formed in February 2002. Set up by former players the academy caters for Boys and Girls from 6 to 12 year. All of the football coaches are FAI qualified.

Buncrana Hearts FC moved to it's current home soccer grounds in 1968. The grounds are situated in Buncrana Youth Club near Castle Avenue. There are two grass soccer pitches, one grass training pitch, two five-a-side Astro turf pitches, and an indoor facility. The club has it's own dressing rooms.

The following Hearts players have gone on to earn international representative honours:

- John O'Loughlin (Schoolboy International - 1996)
- Matthew Cutliffe (Intermediate International - 2005)
- Jonathan Bonner (Schoolboy International, Dev. Squad 2007-09)
- Conor O'Donnell (Under 15 International - 2009)
