Lourdes Celtic FC

Lourdes Celtic FC is a soccer football club based in Crumlin on the south side of Dublin. Formed in 1957 the club has in excess of 500 members. The club originated in the Maryland area of the city and Lourdes Road was a central focal point - hence the name Lourdes Celtic FC. The club's first ever soccer match was against Annamo Rangers in the Phoenix Park.

In the late 1970's one of the Club's teams completed a remarkable treble of the league, DDSL Cup and All-Ireland Cup. A number of players from this team went on to secure professional football contracts with football clubs in the UK. In the 1980's the club opened it's club house at Old County Glen. Since then Lourdes Celtic has improved it's facilities further by adding an astro pitch, leveled and resurfaced the main pitches at The Hill, and finally adding an all-weather pitch at Sundrive Park.

Famous footballers that have played for Lourdes Celtic include Niall Quinn, Damien Duff and Joey O'Brien.
